Whether you know it or not the USA doesn't care for Iran. Remember that rescue mission that America failed to pull off early in the 80's? Well things haven't been right since. And now after the drone that America lost to Iran, which will offer the new technology to Anti-American governments, Iran is threatening to shut down the Strait of Hormuz. This would be a punch in the stomach to America, since this is a global trade spot for oil. The U.S. Navy has warned Iran that this will not be tolerated.
This is my personal opinion. I think Iran supported the insurgents that fought in Iraq against U.S. forces and they continue to support terror. If Israel attacks Iran, which it has threatened to do, India will also attack which will leave America no choice but to attack. If Iran doesn't want another WW3 I suggest that they don't block this strait.
